The Trump Network Wants You
It happened in Miami on November 13th, 2009, a day I will
remember forever. America’s favorite billionaire was there
in person for the launch of his new Network. In his
incredibly moving keynote speech he told the crowd, reported
to be over 5, 000 in a packed house, that our new company
would be a huge success story in America. The Trump Network
is about to change the face of network marketing. His
praise, enthusiasm, and vision for his new company and its
leaders was so inspirational. No one in attendance will ever
forget that night.
With his reputation as a fierce competitor and his track
record of monumental accomplishments, his
new company may well become the most successful Network Marketing Company

My wife, Kim, and I were so honored to have our pictures
taken with the man himself. As we all posed I admitted that
is was my birthday. He asked my age and I confidently said I
was turning 58. He said, “Wow, you look good, really, you
look good!” It made me smile.
Certainly he would never put his name on products that were
anything less than spectacular- so I’m sure he realizes
how powerful our exclusive health products are. But when I
told him that one reason I look good for someone who just
turned 58 is because of the products, he gave me a very
skeptical grin. I'm guessing that he just thought that Kim
and I had only been using the products for a short
time. There was no time to tell him that Kim and I are
founding members of the original company, and that means we
have close to 13 years experience taking the customized vitamins
and other nutritional products. And he couldn't have known
that I had lost 62 pounds in the 6 months after the
introduction of our weight loss products that came out back
in November of '08.
We've witnessed a wave of industry leaders who have just

Network Marketing's New Age Our first brush with Network Marketing was in 1982. They called it Multi-Level Marketing back then, or MLM. The company was Eureka Foods. I don’t remember much about it other than their products. They had Space-Age packaging from the technology developed by NASA for a variety of foods. I remember the Salisbury Steak. It was actually pretty good. They said that with their special packaging their foods could be stored- without refrigeration- for up to three years! The problem? Nobody liked the idea of eating a three year old unrefrigerated Salisbury Steak. Back then you were coached to make a list of everybody you knew (create a “warm market list”) and recruit as many as you could. Another problem- if you got to the end of that list and nobody joined you- you failed. You can imagine people who started with unbridled enthusiasm who chased and pestered their friends and relatives. That’s why our industry developed a poor reputation. Fast forward to 2010. The old way of doing things in Network Marketing is gone. Are you still coached to make a list of friends, family, and co-workers? Sure, but the approach has totally changed. Why? The internet! Social Networking, Pay-per-click advertising, and Search Engine Optimization are the new power tools of today’s Network Marketer. A new Networker should still want the friends, family, and co-workers to hear about their new venture, but there is a world of people accessible via the internet to talk with too. The internet takes all the pressure off of the warm market list. Kim and I coach new marketers to let their warm list people know about their new business while we coach them on building an internet presence. We have years of experience building without the internet, and now years of experience building with it. The combination gives our team the edge they need to find true success. Our team is not only growing rapidly, but they stay with us. True success requires both!
